How precise is laser cutting?
One of the main advantages of laser cutting is the level of precision, our laser cutting tolerances are +/-0.25mm, for 35mm and 40mm, our tolerances are + / -0.50mm, this is in line with ISO guidelines. The accuracy and consistency of laser cutting makes it particularly suitable for high-volume production as the last part cut will be identical to the first.
What is the largest part size you can laser cut?
Most of our materials are supplied in a maximum sheet size of 3000 x 1500mm, but the laser cutting process requires a 10mm border around the sheet, so the maximum part size we can laser cut is 2980 x 1480mm. Standard sheet sizes vary for some material grades, finishes and thicknesses and all materials can be affected by availability.

Our aim is to answer quotes for laser cut metal sent between 7.30am and 4.00pm within one hour. Outside these hours we will respond the next working morning. We accept DXF, DWG and NC files, please send information about which material, thickness and quantities you require.
